This is always our first step. We use our Yoga & Mindfulness programme to build trust, safety, and confidence before introducing and partnering on our wider programmes.
Whilst our primary focus is on communities in Kenya and Tanzania, schools in the UK and UAE also participate, sharing live, meaningful experiences with young people in underserved partner communities across countries we serve in.
Our Yoga & Mindfulness programme offers young people a safe, consistent space to reconnect with themselves.
Delivered online by trained volunteer teachers, sessions support emotional regulation, confidence, physical strength, and presence. For many children who have experienced instability or loss, this may be their first experience of stillness, safety, and intentional care.
Yoga is not used as therapy, but as a tool for resilience, helping young people build inner resources they carry into their daily lives, learning, and relationships.
Although sessions are delivered online, many of our volunteer teachers join us on field visits and connect in person with the communities they support in Kenya and Tanzania, strengthening relationships and long-term impact.
Listen to the stories below to see how yoga has supported our communities and how our volunteers have thrived.
